Trying to Learn for Faye {M O O N} 6eee28523f

I walked into the second cohort building, carrying a stack of books. I shut the door with my foot before walking into my room. No one paid much attention except my friend Seth who saw the books were about dating and how to charm girls. Yes. I kinda need to know since I have no idea whatsoever about girls... or dating. I left the door to my room slightly open as I dropped the books on the bed and sat against the side of it and looked over my shoulder.
I scanned through books on my bed. I'm not great with girls, or dating, so... it's time to look through some books and see what I could learn. I finished the first one and tossed it to the side and went onto the second one. I was truly trying to learn for Faye, but eh. She'll never say yes. But it's still good to know how to date and stuff.
"Tell her that she has eyes like the sea or eyes like the forest if she has blue or green eyes," I read out loud and tossed the book to the side.
"Sounds lame. Faye would not like that... or would she?" I asked myself out loud.

"I watch the stars and the skies, and something is wrong."
Faye walked back into the Cohort. It had been a day since her claiming, and she was still a little shocked out it. Luna... huh. Faye had left the nice braid in from her claiming. It meant she didn't have to waste time doing it in the morning. She was in a white tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. Faye wore a pair of old flip flops on her feet.

Then she heard Alex talking in his room, alone. Faye didn't know what he was saying, but people talk to themselves for wierd reasons. She noticed the door was open, so she got inside."Whatcha reading?" Faye asked titling her head to the side trying to read the cover. Several other books were on the floor, but she didn't read the covers of those.

Several small sounds as if the floor in my room was being stepped on, echoed through my ears. I dismissed it, thinking it was Seth borrowing something. Yeah... unless Seth had long black-brown hair, a feminine figure, and a face that could knock someone out just by smiling at someone... then I was wrong. Faye's voice finally registered in my mind before I tossed my book to the side of my room, and tossed every other one as well, just by using the sheets. I sat on my bed, trying to think up what to say. Maybe I could ask Faye what to do... but play it out like I was going to ask someone else out... I don't know what to do, I remembered yesterday she seemed sad when I lied about talking about something else beautiful. Or was she just done smiling? I don't know. Girls are just... just... so weird sometimes ya know?
"Psh, nothing. So how are ya?" I smiled nervously.

Faye raised an eyebrow."Nothing?" she asked, not believing him for a second. Her eyes flew to the pile of books, thrown lazily to one side of the floor. Faye quickly reached over and grabbed one, making sure Alex couldn't stop her. Quickly reading the title she threw it aside into the pile."You have a strange definition of nothing." Faye commented with a soft smile. The title...how to deal with girls was an odd one. Why on earth would Alex be reading that? Unless...."So what's her name?" Faye asked crossing her arms. She wasn't sure if she should be mad, because she liked him, or supportive.

I blushed and looked down. How should I play this?... Duh. Dishonestly. Of course. I raised my head.
"Her name is..." I tried to think a woman I knew in my life... damn... I didn't know any... "That girl... over there by the.... thing over... there," I sloppily pointed out of my door. I had no idea how to play this now.

Faye's eyes narrowed and looked over her shoulder, at well nothing. She couldn't tell what Alex was pointing to. A door, wow."Well I hope you and the door will be very happy together." she spat with tiny tears forming in her eyes. He didn't even trust her enough to tell her. Faye felt totally ashamed, that's what you get for trusting someone.

Whoa! What did I do! I barely said anything! I walked up to her and put my hands on her shoulders and smiled.
"Well... she was claimed yesterday... by Luna... during a training session, with some awesome guy right there, just saying, and she looked beautiful standing there, but even with her hair all nice, and her skin so clean almost shining, I think she's beautiful just being her normal self..." I smiled.
"But I lost all confidence to ask her out," I smirked.

Faye let a single tear slide down her face."Why? I'm sure she would've said yes." she said slowly with a soft smile. Faye wished she could unthink those thoughts she thought a moment ago. They were all wrong. Alex... oh Gods... "You should ask her out.... like now." Faye said with a smile. She meant it, because she knew the girl's answer... yes times a million.

I wiped the tear off of her chin with my thumb. Her next answer made all of those wounds I had from the previous day, almost invisible in feeling. I smiled widely.
"If you insist," I smiled and walked to my door, opening it. "HEY! YOU WANNA GO OUT?" I yelled out the door, jokingly.

Faye laughed to herself."Like I said, you and the door, great couple." she said with a smile. Faye heard several yells back, and she could tell they were thinking, What the heck?. She would be too, except she was too busy laughing.

I smiled at her and closed the door, ignoring the yelling. I walked back up to her and smiled. "So, Faye, you wanna go out some time? That door just shot me down," I smirked at her and took her hand in mine. How happy was I? Scale of one to ten? Eleven. Yeah I went there.
