decmia sage markette
Decmia's grey eyes passed over the opponents in the Circus Maximus. It had been just a week since she had returned to camp, and she still remained as she determined as ever to beat everyone. Sweat was sprinkled across the demigod's forehead, glistening in the Autumn sun, as she pointed the tip of her sword at her next opponent. "Suit up," the demigod commanded briskly.
As soon as the boy was ready, the fight began. Swords clashed loudly, ringing across all of the area. It was very constant in it's pattern. Stab once, sidestep, parry, roll, slash. Decmia was able to guess where he would be attacking next, and blocked it quickly and effectively.
After a few minutes, she noticed the boy was heaving, and coughing. Dez knew she hadn't hit anything. "You might want to sit down," she suggested, elbowing the guy in the back. He was down quickly, and decided a break was well in order. As much as she loved getting her adrenaline going, she knew she should take a break too.
Stripping off her leather armor, she stood in a white superman tank top, athletic shorts and tennis shoes. Decmia's raven colored hair was a mess, even as it was pulled into an awkward ponytail. Trading her sword for her crossbow, she headed over to the targets, deciding that would take less energy.
One of the few things that she remembered from her past was the strategy behind everything. Decmia was basing most things off of that now, and still didn't trust anyone except her weapons. They were the most consistent thing in her life right now. Setting an arrow in her crossbow, she was about to fire, when she saw someone standing in front of the targets. Her finger's barely grazed the trigger, but it sent the arrow spiraling towards the demigod. "Move!" Decmia screamed, her grey eyes wide. outfit

Phineas runs through the camp, dodging people and any obstacles in his path. If he does not hustle, he is going to be late for training. And he knows from past experience, that he does not want to be late. The camper in charge, Ariadne, is not known to listen to excuses. Last time he was late, he ended up being her personal practice dummy for the day, the memories still haunt him. He does not want that to happen again.
Phineas bursts into the Circus Maximus and skids to a stop in front of the archery targets. Taking a deep breath, he takes a sip of his water and checks his watch. The time reads 7:50, he made it. In fact he is early. Dang, he must have been running faster than he thought. That would explain why he is so out of breath. He slowly sits on the ground, trying to catch his breath. He never notices that he is sitting in front of the targets.
Hearing someone shouting, he looks up. That's when he notices the girl pointing a cross bow at him. At first Phineas is confused and very afraid. After a quick scan around the area, he realizes that he is sitting in front of the targets. That might explain why she is pointing a crossbow at him. Slowly he puts his hands above his head and stands up. "Don't shoot, I'm moving" he calls out, hopefully loud enough for her to hear him. Quickly he snatches his water bottle, and runs out of the way of the targets.
He then jogs over to the girl. "Sorry about that, I guess I didn't notice, hopefully I didn't cause you any trouble"he says apologetically. He then studies her for a few seconds. Right away he notices her beauty, even in training clothes, she is still one of the prettiest girls he has seen, if not the prettiest. He smiles goofily and stands there. Her beauty is just a tad captivating. "I'm Phineas Hays, but Phineas is an old man name, call me Finny. What's your name?"he says to her, a goofy smile still on his face.

Decmia watched as he got out of the way, barely. At the rate he was moving, she thought he would've gotten nailed in the shoulder or something. As she selected another arrow to shoot, the girl noticed a moving figure out of the corner of her eye. Straightening back up, she gave him a passive glance as he apologized. "It's fine, but I don't think standing in front of the targets is a good idea," Decmia said with a raised eyebrow.
She took a brief second to analyze the boy in front of her, taking in what she could register. She didn't think she knew the boy, but maybe he knew her? Dez didn't know, everything was a blur now days. "Finny?" she repeated, notching another arrow into her crossbow. Finny sounded like a twelve year old's name to her, but she didn't say that. Instead, she aimed and fired, and it landed on the second rung of the target. Not good enough.
"Well, Finn, I'm Decmia Markette," she said with a quick smile, before she reached for another arrow. The girl wished that she actually knew people, it was one of the hardest things about losing your memory. People came up to you and started a conversation, but if you had no idea who they were, what was the point? Decmia felt stupid asking who they were, but at least she didn't know this guy before. Then again, with that goofy smile, one would think she would've remembered him.
