Hey, hey my fellow Romans! I know that Christianity wasn't really a Roman thing, but I figured it would be nice to have a little bit of winter in California. I also know that isn't really geographically correct, but it would be nice for the hard workers to have a little bit of a break, right? So there have been a few winter areas added into the Camp! Here's a little bit about each.
Ice Skating Rink - So, maybe not everyone can skate, but they can definitely learn! The lake has been frozen, and now supports a large rink for anyone who wants to try it out.
Sledding Hill - Since everyone at Camp Jupiter has probably been deprived of a childhood, what better way to give some of it back? Sledding Hills are set up around the Hills if you're up for it. The difficulty ranges from blue (easy) to green (moderate) and then to black (difficult).
Snowball Games - Basically, this just gives the campers and excuse to beat on each other with snow, but I suppose it could be educational. Have at it really, the Games aren't supervised.
Christmas Trees - Each of the Cohorts has decorated a tree that is on display. Presents are tucked beneath each of them, all for campers.
So, basically, enjoy this Winter! The staff wishes you all a happy holidays!
